Résumé |
This paper reviews a stochastic time-frequency model of the late diffuse reverberation in rooms. An analysis method is described for deriving the parameters of this model from a measured room impulse response, yielding an accurate estimate of the reverberation time with arbitrary resolution in the frequency domain. An associated method for synthesizing the late reverberation decay allows to restore an impulse response corrupted by measurement noise. The models and methods described are illustrated on impulse responses measured in European concert halls. |
